permanent exhibition within the former Bottos’ wool mill (1961-1985), Pomas’ cotton mill (1861-1985),
now linked in to the Rete Museale Biellese (Biellese Museums Network, www.atl.biella.it/rete). The
presence of a hydroelectric plant inside the mill premises which can be visited by the public during the
summer season, promotes the renewable energy sector, by preserving the environment.
A rich programme of events is normally available on a yearly basis and the promoters, including our Town
Hall, www.comune.miagliano.bi.it/Miagliano E-News on Facebook, blend history and archaeology with
innovation, whereby the common denominators are the respect for the environment and the development
of both the territory and culture peculiar to the Cervo Valley.
MyDreamHome B&B-Miagliano is a first floor flat with a balcony inside an ancient house comprising of
one bedroom with a small double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower cubicle; an open plan
dining/sitting room for your breakfast along with a corner office desk, besides an annexed kitchenette
with a fridge-freezer, microwave facilities to either cook or to warm up food, a kettle, a coffee machine
and crockery and cutlery for your use. Two ceiling mounted fans provide a healthy, ventilated
environment during the summer heat. A ground floor patio facing a small private rockery, inside a
medieval courtyard, offers the possibility to enjoy breakfast in the open air.
WiFi is available for free, but necessitates boosting with your mobile phone hot-spot facilities for
optimal reception.
We give a warm welcome to anybody who needs to stay in a picturesque and quiet place, ten minutes’
drive from Biella and circa one hour's drive form either Milan or Turin, and with easy access to both the
Lower and Higher Cervo Valley for walks, trekking, birdwatching, mountain biking, ski tours in the winter
season to Bielmonte and Oropa, to name but a few, or some simple rest.
A few minutes on foot from the flat, it is possible to swim in both the crystal clear lagoons of the Cervo
River or in the ancient water canal, besides sunbathing on the granite boulders. Otherwise you may feel
like indulging in either some jogging or a gentle stroll through the village streets.
